What is a briefing?
The word "briefing" has English roots, intranslation of the meaning of it is: a short, brief and brief briefing. A brief press conference dedicated to one news, event, question is usually called a briefing. A briefing from a regular press conference is distinguished by a closed nature, as well as the lack of a presentation part. Only representatives of pre-determined media that have been accredited are invited to the briefing. The duration of the briefings does not exceed 30 minutes.
The same name is also given to the workshop ingovernment bodies or commercial structures, public organizations, held with the participation of representatives of the press. Such briefings are discussed and developed by certain decisions on one topic.
