Housing Reform Fund may be abolished
In the event that within the next five years, the state corporation engaged in the housing and utility sector reform does not fulfill its tasks, it will have to be abolished, said First Deputy Prime Minister Dmitry Medvedev.
We are talking about the Housing and Utilities Reform Facilitation Fund, which should, on a shared basis with the regions, finance capital repairs of houses and the relocation of citizens from emergency housing. 240 billion rubles have been allocated for this purpose. All expenses are controlled by the supervisory board, headed by the Minister of Regional Development.
“The housing and utilities corporation has been given for five years for everything. We didn’t meet the deadlines - goodbye! ”, Said Medvedev.
According to him, the state corporations are necessary in solving problems such as housing and utilities reform or the development of nanotechnology. However, they should not become feeders for officials. And so those willing in Russia is full. To avoid abuse, we need a clear time frame for solving the tasks.
