Architects from Spain have created projects for new stations of the Moscow MetroDecember 26, 2016
The architects of Spain from a company called “Bustren PM”, which was engaged in the construction of the metro in Madrid, created projects for the new Moscow subway stations, according to materials provided by the Moscow construction complex.
“In the near future, the appearance of metro stations will have to change dramatically. In the Moscow metro in the near future should appear the 3rd interchange circuit - The second ring. For the construction of the longest line of the Moscow metro at 54 kilometers, the city authorities decided to use foreign experience. Architects and engineers of Bustren PM are currently working on the creation of a project for new stations, ”it is noted in the documents.
According to the materials provided by the building complex, the Spaniards proposed the construction of tunnels in Moscow, according to a very common technology in Europe - two ways and two side platforms, which would provide an opportunity to speed up the construction process and make it cheaper to thirty percent, and in addition, to 50 percent to reduce the cost of the process of servicing the tunnels. In addition, if necessary, the evacuation of passengers in a 2-way tunnel is carried out significantly more efficiently and in a shorter time.
“We apply the European standard for design. The newly appeared tunnel on the third transfer ring can be made in 2-way execution. One tunnel will immediately be able to pass a pair of trains, and the stations will be completed in a new, unusual format for the Russian capital. This decision will help save about 80 billion rubles in the next five years, ”said Marat Khusnullin, deputy mayor for construction and urban planning policy.
